About these terms

This website is operated by Nucleotto (ABN 92 691 707 801) under the brand LoanScout. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Nucleotto, and “you” means anyone using this website.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

What these terms do not cover

This is the most important thing on this page, so it comes first. These terms govern your use of this website and nothing else. Three separate relationships sit behind it:

Nothing on this page varies, limits or adds to the second or third of those. If they conflict with these terms as to the comparison service or a credit contract, they prevail.

What this website does

LoanScout is a marketing and referral platform. It describes the types of finance you can compare and hands you to a comparison service operated by RateMatch AI Pty Ltd (ABN 15 687 175 980), which is presented in a frame on our pages.

We do not:

• provide credit assistance, credit advice or financial advice
• recommend, endorse or rank any broker, lender or product
• assess, approve, decline or price any application
• lend money, or act as agent for any lender
• guarantee that you will be matched with anything, or on any terms

Any offer you receive comes from the participating broker or lender, on their own assessment. Whether to proceed is entirely your decision, and you should consider whether a product is right for your circumstances before you do.

Using the site

By using this website you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old
• you are using the site for your own purposes, and any information you provide is your own
• the information you provide is true and complete, so far as you know
• you will not use the site for anything unlawful

You must not:

• scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site
• access the site by automated means, or at a volume that could impair it
• attempt to interfere with, probe or circumvent its security
• reproduce or republish its content commercially without our written permission

Rates and figures shown on this site

Any rate, term, amount or worked example shown on this site is general information about the range available across the participating lender panel. It is not an offer, a quote, or a representation that any particular figure is available to you.

The rate and terms you are actually offered depend on the product, the lender, and that lender’s assessment of your application. Figures can change, and a worked example is an illustration only.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including any loan type offered for comparison, without notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its effective date at the top, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Intellectual property

The content, design, wordmark, artwork and code of this site belong to Nucleotto or its licensors, except where they belong to a third party. You may read and print pages for your own personal use; nothing on this site grants you any other right in them.

The RateMatch name and any lender or broker name that appears belong to those organisations.

Links to other websites

This site links to websites we do not operate, and the comparison may take you to a broker’s or lender’s own site. Those links are not endorsements. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of any site we do not operate, and you use them on their terms.

Your rights, and the limits of our liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, or any other right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies and permits us to limit our liability, we limit it to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: this website and its content are provided as they are; we do not warrant that the information on it is complete, current or suitable for your circumstances; and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, from any decision you make about a credit product, or from the conduct of any broker, lender or other third party.

Information on this site is general in nature and does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect through this site and what we do not. In short: what you type into the comparison form goes directly to RateMatch and never reaches us.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, our complaints process sets out how to raise it with us and where you can take it if we do not resolve it to your satisfaction.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION], Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
